2. Alternator/Generator:
Converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. Contains rotor and stator. Famous brands: Stamford, Leroy Somer, Marelli.
3. Control Panel:
The brain of the control system. Includes voltage, frequency, amperage displays and protection system.
4. Cooling System:
Includes radiator, water pump, thermostat and cooling fan. Maintains engine temperature within safe range.
5. Fuel System:
Includes fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter and injector. Fuel consumption depends on load and generator capacity.
6. Exhaust System:
Expels combustion gases. Includes manifold, turbocharger (in larger models) and muffler.
7. Skid & Tank:
Metal frame for holding engine and generator and integrated fuel tank for storage.
